CoolPetStuff.com is a family owned and operated business. It was established in 1998 when the founder saw a need to offer pet owners, such as himself, a selection of products not commonly found in the average pet store.
We have experienced substantial growth since becoming more focused on eCommerce a few years ago, and are proud it has been mostly through repeat business and referrals due to our aggressive pricing and good service. We have and will continue to greatly expand our product offerings over time. We stock over 95% of what we sell and most orders ship the same day when ordered by late afternoon (central time). The few non-stock items (custom made to order and special order items) shipping directly from manufacturers or other locations are identified within the product listing with the approximate lead times for them.
We purchased, remodeled, and moved into our current facility in 2015 as part of a major growth expansion.
We strive to keep our costs low and help preserve the environment by reusing boxes, packing material, etc from inbound shipments as much as practical when needed... a win-win situation! Although we have a 10,000 sq ft warehouse/order fulfillment facility, administratively we still operate from a home office. We aggressively take advantage of volume discounts, sales, trade show deals, closeouts, etc. Again, we are family owned/operated, so we have minimal employee expense and operate efficiently. All of this is why we can offer such good prices to you without a sacrifice in service.
About Security As consumers, we at CoolPetStuff.com are particularly sensitive to online Security. We have gone to extraordinary efforts to provide a safe and secure online shopping experience. We use Paypal, one of the largest eCommerce payment processors available, for card payment processing. We are Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) Level 1 certified, the highest security certification available at the retail level. When you use a credit/debit card through our secure checkout, your payment information is encrypted, immediately transmitted to the payment processor, we do not store your complete payment information on our servers, and we never even see or have access to your complete payment info ourselves! We also offer the option of using Paypal payments, and again we never even have access to your payment info ourselves.
Customer Satisfaction We are readily accessible by phone, email, and website live chat to address any issues that may arise during business hours. Any emails or messages sent after business hours are addressed promptly on the next business day. We have no restocking fees on returns, and we even absorb outbound shipping costs on size exchanges.
We do a lot of online shopping as consumers ourselves. Our philosophy is simple... We treat you as we want to be treated when we are shopping online. Good prices (including shipping), fast service, few problems, and responsive customer service when there is a problem are our goals.
